Choose a must-have object
Between the two of you, figure out and decide on one object you would both like to have in your bedroom. It could be your favourite photo which you’ll enlarge and frame, it could be a colour you both love or even something sentimental. This will enable the two of you to lay the groundwork and figure a common ground in the room.

Keep it simple
If one or both of you are fussy about the style in your bedroom, consider a simple and streamlined look. A contemporary bedroom look should be unassuming enough to appeal to both genders while still looking elegant and welcoming. Sometimes a minimalistic aesthetic is just what you need.

Neutral colours are not only timeless and classy, they also make for a great choice in a couple’s bedroom. Personal space
It is important that each person feels a sense of belonging in a couple’s bedroom. On each of the bedsides, each person can store whatever they want, and even possibly display photos of their choice to make it personal for them. If you have the space, adding seating, like a two-seater couch or an accent chair makes a great way to give the room a functional space.
