Available shifts:
- We operate 24/7, as such we have shifts available throughout the day and week. Should your application be successful one of our talented and dedicated recruiters will reach out to walk you through our available shifts that best match your time needs, qualifications, experience and teaching methodology.
- The shifts are a mix of set-scheduled and flexible shifts so that we can accommodate tutors looking for stability and those looking for a more flexible way of teaching.
Guaranteed approximately 5 – 45 hours per week depending on your shift
Location:
- Anywhere in South Africa
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance while delivering English lessons to a group of students or one-on-one classes.
- Engage and encourage students positively in their learning journey.
- Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency
- Use well-developed teaching material provided to you to guide your students to achieve their language goals.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Matric is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field is preferred
- 120 TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate will be beneficial
- Great command of the English language (accent neutral)
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
Technical Requirements:
PC specifications :
- Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
- Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
Backup power :
- Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching) . This is a non-negotiable requirement.
- A separate mini power supply system to power your fibre router as an independent system.
Internet Connection:
- A stable FIBRE internet connection - at a minimum of 10 mbps upload and download speeds
- PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection
Other:
- Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera.
- Back-up headset is highly recommended
- Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
