This position has seven main components, as follows:
o Office, financial and asset administration for the FMHS Doctoral Office and Predoctoral Short Course;
o Document and database management, data capturing, extraction, and interpretation/analysis;
o Providing support to students and supervisors in research degrees;
o Examiner nominations and examination process for research degrees, and related reporting;
o Providing administrative support and personal assistance to the head of the FMHS Doctoral Office;
o Postdoctoral fellow, host, consolidoc, and alumni liaison and administration;
o Reception, enquiries (walk-in, telephone and electronic), and ad hoc tasks.
Providing meticulous, professional support of research degree examination processes;
Data capturing, data extraction, quality control and analysis;
Administrative support and quality assurance of electronic record-keeping;
Performing routine and regulatory tasks related to the research degree programmes;
Following up on Senate decisions related to the Faculty research degree programmes;
Providing general support to research degree studies in the Faculty;
Responding appropriately to all general queries (walk-in, telephone and electronic);
Assisting with the compilation of committee reports as well as an annual report;
Providing personal assistance to the head by assisting with meeting preparation and special projects;
General communication and marketing activities;
Reception, enquiries, and ad hoc tasks.
