RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assisting in conducting inspections of incoming parts when needed to ensure compliance as determined by Work Instructions;
- Binning of parts received into receiving areas according to part types;
- Assist with weekly cycle counts in any of the warehouses as and when needed;
- Accurate record keeping and filing of all relevant documentation pertaining to spares movements;
- Updating of the stock system to reflect relevant movements;
- Routing of parts to outstations, hangars and airports where it is needed;
- Creating of documentation for shipping purposes as well as packaging as per Work Instructions;
- Updating of Flow Centric as soon as parts are received or dispatched;
- Collection and delivering of components at all hangars;
- Housekeeping to be done daily;
- Drawing and issuing of spares from main warehouse;
- Attend to all requests for spares sent through via email, phone calls or WhatsApp;
- Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by supervisor;
- Ensure access to warehouse is controlled at all times;
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate;
- 1 to 2 years warehousing experience;
- Forklift license will be advantageous;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Good understanding of stock management and the systems it uses;
- Must be willing to work overtime;
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
